For Wendy Davis' recent Birthday, my battleground Texas team and I celebrated by holding a Women for Wendy phone bank on Wednesday and block walking effort this past Saturday. Collectively, BGTX reached out to 75,000 voters in this weekend alone. It was hot, I got hased by a dog, and I was in the h00d, but it was worth it. 

Spending so much time with the directors and team leaders of Corpus' main Democratic organization at Democratic HQ, I have come to understand new meanings to the ideologies that are represented by our President, and other prominent leaders. It's hands on experience in a field that I plan to go into, and report on, and I'm gaining insight to craft the main goal of my History Project: What it means to be a Democrat in Corpus Christi, WWII - present.
